Support living schoolyards for all children!

Your support is critical in helping Green Schoolyards America continue our work to ensure that every public school student and community—regardless of zip code and income—have access to vibrant, climate-resilient schoolyards, daily nature, and joy. With your help, we will reach more children, support their learning, protect and improve their environment, and grow a greener future!

Help Build A MODEL Schoolyard Forest in Los Angeles!

All donations received by November 30th will be matched 1:1 up to $60,000

122nd Street Elementary School’s schoolyard is—like the majority of school grounds in the country—covered in unshaded, barren asphalt. Green Schoolyards America is partnering with the school community at 122nd Street to transform this under-utilized, unwelcoming outdoor space into a shade-filled oasis that will inspire the school’s 600 students, give them a safe and healthy place to play and learn, bring much-needed climate resilience to their urban community, and serve as a model for schools across the region and beyond.

Before all the technical things happen, someone’s heart and eyes need to open to how things can be different. Green Schoolyards America does this exceptionally well.
